Comdex and New Video Cards.....where are all the new annoucements?

Ok, the XGI Dual Chip was running, and is pretty radical and all, but what about the Via/S3 Delta-Chrome? and nVidia showed bare cards of the new NV series, but nothing in a comp running (as far as I know), and we got a sneak peak (we think) of the 9800XT, but not from Ati, but another vendor.

So are we going to see anything more or is there actually nothing to be shown/announced at this years Comdex?

 
I thought it was Computex that's going on now. Maybe that's your problem. 😉

Seriously, I guess either no one was within 30 days from release, or they didn't want to take the chance of being upstaged by a competitor. ATi will definitely announce the 9800XT and 9600XT on 9/30. Hopefully we'll see the holidays roll around with a huge selection in the mid-high end, with the 9600XT, Volari Duo, DeltaChrome/V8, and 5700. Should be nice.
