You don't need a login name or password. In addition to the comcast newsgroup, I also use astraweb. It's only $15/month for unlimited downloads. Astraweb also has great speeds, good completion rate, and probably around 4-5 day retention time. I've been with Astraweb for close to a month and haven't had any major problems besides maybe a couple 2 hour downtimes here and there.
