Comcast to double net speed by end of year.

Too bad RR (the only broadband available here) won't jump on the band wagon. Actually their response is, "We do have it, it's called our Business Account." Yeah right.
 
Yeah, I have comcast at home and they sent out an email about 3 weeks ago say they were upping the download speed. I checked my speed at dslreports and sure enough it was increased. Finally almost back to the original speed I had when I initially signed up, that was when mediaone was around.

Yeah, that's going to work really well on that 256k upload. They should up it to 768 or higher.
 
I'm in Southern CA, just scored 1611 downstream on cnet's bandwidth test. I wouldn't mind a larger upstream, 25k/sec uploading sucks.
