so i got a new DLP tv this past weekend (Samsung 50" DLP HL-P5063W), and im not sure if you saw my posts or not yesterday, asking about high definition and comcast, but either way, i went to comcast to pick up my HD cable box last night. i went there about 7:30 after i went to the gym right after work. so i go there at 7:30, pick up my box in about 5 minutes and the guy tells me to call the customer service after i have it hooked up in order to activate the HD signal. i say okay and walk out.
so i get home, and hook up the HD box in a second. i was so excited about seeing HD for the first time (i really don't think i have yet to see true HD, other than Soul Calibur 2 on xbox in 720p which is ... OMG) so i finished it in no time, just in time to watch monday night football in HD. so i call up comcast's cusomer service, and on the machine the recording says:
"Hello. Today is Monday, November 29th. We are currently experiencing technical difficulties and cannot access accounts nor make any changes to accounts. Sorry for this inconvenience. Our estimated time of service coming back is approximately 2 hours. Again, sorry for this inconvenience."
so right then i was like "OH TEH NOES!!111 NO MNF IN HD!!!11!1" so yea, that really sucked, and i didn't even get to see anything in HD last night
. i called back in about an hour and received the same recording, however i waited to talk to a live person anyways. they then broke even worse news to me and said the services will hopefully be up by tomorrow morning (as in today). so basically, i didn't get to see anything in HD last night and have to wait 8 grueling hours at work before i can play with it at home tonight 
CLIFFNOTES FOR LAZY FVCKS!
-New tv this past weekend that is HD ready.

-Hook it up and call comcast to activate the HD signal
-Comcast services are down for 2 hours.
-oh teh noes i cant get hd right now! how bout in 2 hours!
-I call back and am told the service is down all night until tomorrow (today)
-I have to wait 8 hours before i can see HD
