Comcast subscribers give me your opinion of the service

I have Adelphia now, but I am considering the switch. Just wanted to hear from some folks who are currently subscribed to Comcast before making any decisions. I am also under the impression that Comcast has bought out Adelphia. However, for the time being, they are still two seperate services in my area.

Thank guys🙂

Really? I pay over $100 now for all digital, all the channels (including movie channels), and broadband. Its more expensive than that?

My Comcast at the last place I lived was fantastic. But now, in my new development, it sucks donkey balls.

It's something with the levels, but I have to keep calling to make them come check it out

Comcast's service, I have no complaints, but I pay $140 a month for digital cable + internet. It's a joke and I'm not feelin' the whole "dish on top of my house" thing... although it'd save me more than $90 a month (SBC/Dish/DSL == $100, Comcast Cable & Internet + SBC == $190)

Comcast has gone to super poop after their recent speed upgrades. Their infrastructure cannot handle the free speed upgrade they did, and now pretty much everyone suffers with high pings at night time, during peak usage

if you can get something different, do so, i've had it up to here *waves hand* with there random downtimes here in the Puget Sound area, i mean COME ON.
plus, they charge you out the... well its expensive for HSI, and BASIC cable. Sadly Comcast is the only option in my area because of the horrible DSL service in the area due to bad phone lines.

i am on pretty good special with comcast right now - $98 w/ tax for HSI, 2 HD boxes (one wth DVR) and HBO/Showtime...

if you are gonna get Comcast HSI, go to best buy or staples to get their specials for the free modem so you dont have to rent one...

It depends on the area. Some areas are more stable than others. I have Comcast cable internet, and it's fantastic. Never get dropped, very rarely have an outtage (once or twice in 6 months) and it's fairly cheap. Definitely under $100 for everything for me.

i work at compusa and we offer some special offers like that too on the modems

i have comcast and recently there was a HUGE outage cause there DNS servers went down

but other than that i think the only internet problems i've had are with my personal router denying my access to the web

i think we pay 50-60 a month for basic cable and HSI

the internet alone is i think 40 somthin
