My 3000/256 Comcast cable connection just became 4000/384. Yay for me!

I read on DSLreports.com (or whatever they're called now) that Comcast will be upgrading the whole country gradually this year.

yup my 4/384 was upgraded to 6/768.. Now, i download max at 750 kb/sec and upload max at 80 kb/sec. .woohoo 😛

Check out your real speeds at http://miranda.ctd.anl.gov:7123/, after the test finishes click the More details button, and see what it says. You may need to change you TCP Rec window and MTU settings - so go to www.dslreports.com/tweaks and see what that test says. Either make the changes to your computer's registry manually or download DrTCP from dslreports.com and use it to make the changes. Reboot and your speeds (download speed anyway) should have improved YMMV.
