Is the Support.com sowftware necessary for Comcast to work. This software is seemingly useless and takes up a decent amount of space. Has anyone deleted it with no effect on their connection?

Excellent, that's what I thought but I figured I would check, they're enough of a hassle with problems on their end. No need to be creating any on mine.
