What is wrong with these goddamn idiots?

I still have DNS issues, even AFTER I have dropped their DNS servers!!!! Just can't get to about 25% of the sites I enter in my browser.

Is there nothing I can do but wait for the pile of queers to fix it?

if you switched dns servers, then you aren't using theirs anymore. so how is it that their dns servers are causing your problem?? I'm confused...

If you have a router of some sort, try changing the dns server settings there instead of in Windows. assuming you did make the change in windows the first time.

Assuming you run Windows XP, does typing in 'ipconfig /flushdns' do anything for you? How long has this been going on? Is it a wide-spread known issue?

just change your dns host to one that's listed by nightcrawler. Or run your own dns server.

I haven't been using comcast's dns server ever since I got their service. I have also abandon their email account and run my own because they keep switching around ... @home, @attbi.com, @comcast.com who knows whats next

i setup a comcast connect for a local family. they screwed up the initial provisioning, then about 90% of the pages i went to sent me to the "REGISTER TO USE COMCAST. CLICK HERE" like I hadn't registered.

The monkeys on the other end said everything was fine.

I gave up and switched DNS servers. Problem solved.

Another vote for nightcrawlers fix. I could not get to 90% of web sites put in those 4.1.1.1 DNS servers, problems went away (this is for comcast in California)

My sister inlaw in seattle were having the same problem today. I told them to change the dns server address and everything works like a charm :)

Off that long list, how do I determine which one to use? The one w/ the fewest hops from my location?
