comcast search - being forced on end users?

what the fuck is up with comcast? so i type in a website wrong and by default i have google as my search engine.

but comcast forces their web search to pop up now I have not installed 1 bit of comcast software on my pc

Wouldn't that just be their DNS server redirecting you to their web search?

well they hide it in their marketing emails they spam you with . i opted out but they say takes 2 days, what the fuck they can flick a switch and then make you see their fucking pieces of shit

Yeah, just go change the DNS so that it doesn't default to their stuff. If anything, this is actually probably a good thing for the average user, since theirs is probably setup to direct to something that malware tells to go to.
