How about we don't give two craps about higher mbps? The current 6 mbps is more than fine for everyday surfing.

How about REMOVING THAT NAZI-ASS TORRENT THROTTLE at 20 kbytes / sec?

my torrents aren't throttled...I can get them going near 600-700

That's a better article. If you read it through you will see that they are gearing this high speed network towards their "On Demand" line of products, not necessarily the internet. They are going to use the increased speed to allow users to download movies on demand, not surf the net at those speeds.
