Comcast must really hate me..

I read a survey done two years ago that Comcast was the #2 ranked major company for horrible customer service in the country. I had HORRIBLE service with them. When I played WoW, I heard nonstop complaints about them from all over the country.

I used that SpeakEasy link and got the exact same numbers. The nice thing is that I only pay 19.99 for this internet. It's the Comcast Economy package.

A funny story about that too: when I called them to set up the economy internet, the CSR "informed" me that the economy internet wouldn't work with wireless at all. I asked her for a technical reason why it wouldn't, and she said that they were just told that by the tech department. It was obviously a ploy to trick people into using their 49.99/mo internet with SpeedBoost and all that other crap. I use this connection to stream movies from netflix, game and just browse (wirelessly, go figure) and it's just fine.

Unbelievable.

Misinformed rep. It works fine with your own Wi-Fi, but you can't order the economy package and there own Wireless Router. You have to go with the next package up to order the Wi-Fi.

Yeah comcasts speed boost skews the results. I download at a real speed of 1 mb/s. According to speed test its 11 mb/s.

I'm not saying you're getting the two confused, but you do know that speedtest is measuring in megabits and not megabytes like your browser does when downloading, right?
