$15/mo for non-comcast cable subscribers

$1/mo for current comcast cable subscribers

I believe the $1/mo is only for the first two months, after which it reverts back to the normal fee. Not super hot, warm at best.

If you already have Comcast, you can call and ask if they have any offers to lower your internet bill, since you are interested in looking into a cheaper internet service such as DSL. I did thins on Christmas day and they knocked mine down to $19.95 for the next three months, not alot but cheaper than the $50 I was paying.

i HATE comcast... but im stuck with it. i want to move back to CT just so i can get my optonline back... 3x the download speeds, 3x the upload speeds, better outage credit policy, ok newsgroups, $40/month.

Second that. I told them I was going with DSL, and they dropped me to $23; and said "but we can only keep that rate for 13 months."

Fine by me!

13 months? Nice. I have $23/month comcast right now. It's a 6 month promo I found on the net, not offer directly from comcast. I even got my $160 rebate. I'll call them up when the current promote expires and threatens switching to SBC DSL if they don't continue giving me that rate.

They have this deal every summer for 3 months or so
And every summer me and a friend rent an apartment and enjoy $20 (usually, sometimes a bit higher or lower) broadband 😀

Ya, it's just for the first couple months at that price. It goes to $40 a month, so don't think it's real cheap. It's screaming fast though, and I highly recommend it.
