Comcast HDTV DVR to PC, using ethernet port...can it be done?

I have Comcast HDTV with the Motorola DCT-6208 Reciever, this reciever is just amazing, its got a fvckload of inputs/outputs and one of them happens to be ethernet and I'd like to pull HDTV recordings that are on the internal 80GB harddrive off and save em on my pc, and Im wondering how to do it, i plugged in the ethernet into my router but i get nothing....any one know if this can be done?
