Looks like a lot of people in the midwest are having trouble. I've switched to Google DNS until they sort things out.

Already fixed, used 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Had to use my other system and configure the Comcast Business Gateway I'm using.8.8.8.8 for DNS... Learn it and love it!
Is there any disadvantage to just using the google DNS all the time?
Maybe they can monitor what website you're visiting. D:
I'll use it for a while since my internet speed increased a little bit.

Your speed probably went up because your neighbors are still offline with DNS issues.
pwned
any clue as to what happened to the DNS server?
Took me a good hour to accept that it wasn't my router, modem, network adapter or phone.
My girlfriend just had to do exactly that, then I saw this thread and had to walk her through changing the DNS![]()

I feel like Google knows way too much about me already, so I prefer to use OpenDNS at 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220.
