Comcast Digital Cable or Satellite?

I invested in a HDTV LCD TV and want to leverage it fully. Currently on analog cable through Comcast and split it to 4 TV's in house with Tivo with 3 of the TVs. THink its time to bite the bullet and go HDTV and get more programming. I'm so freakin confused on which to go with. Leaning towards satellite for more HD channles and since boxes free for four rooms - just not sure what rental box price will go up to.

Opinions?

Comcast is expensive, but with 4 TVs in your house satellite will also be expensive.

High-def over satellite is sometimes mockingly called "HD-Lite", and for good reason: Dish Network and DirectTV have less overall bandwidth available for them then most cable providers can provide straight to your house-- which means either fewer channels, or higher compression.

You won't be able to see most compression artifacts on a 32" standard-def tube TV, but they are very apparent when watching on 40" or larger hi-def TV.

If it were me, I would go with Comcast. They still have a lot of HD channels (most of which you would actually watch, unlike Dish Network's HD channels acquired from VOOM which have limited content).
