Comcast must be run by idiots - TechTV has finally gotten around to establishing themselves, and I think that it's pretty popular among normal people. My mom watches shows like Call For help, and so does my dad. To gut the whole network and make it a gaming channel is marketing SUICIDE, i've never even seen the G4 network.
 
yeah, has to be one of the stupidest business descisions ever.
i was no fan of techtv, but heck, it's way more known than whatever the heck G4 is.
 
I'd imagine that the two networks will be merging in spirit, if not in staff. Which is to say that while all the Tech TV people are getting fired (unless they relocate to LA, which I'm sure some of them will), I'd expect to see G4 become less game-orientated and go for a more general tech-related route.
 
If they let Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb go from XPLAY.. i'm out.
Ok.. morgan they can let go... but Adam makes that show fun to watch.
 
what a bunch of morons, i'm not that fond of techtv or anything but their actions seem really really stupid to me

Yup, been watching since the days of Extended Play with Adam & Kate. Disney should retort and buy Concast then liquidate the fcukers.
 
G4 is another gamer network. they carry it on digital cable here in charlotte. it looks like a very, very low budget public access station.

They're keeping all of the popular shows, so I imagine that they'll rehire most of the on-air staff.

There's no way Comcast would in their right mind just drop all of the TechTV shows. That's absurd.

I have never watched tech tv long enough to see a commercial.

a. why would I care?
b. how did this group stay employed as long as it did?
 
MOTHER _!@)(#_)(*@!)#(*!)@. I just heard about this. I am so f***ing pissed. Tech TV was like the only channel that i really watched and now its gonna get screwed. Yeah maybe some of the shows with stay, but it will never be the same.

Hey Comcast, go screw someone like Disney, not TTV.
 
Funny how Morgan webb thinks all her fan boys are
