Comcast Cable/Internet customer thinking about going Dish

I have comcast cable. I use the cable internet and the cable tv. They tell me if i drop the cable tv my internet is going to go up from 45 a month to 60 a month. So, if i pay for dish, which would cost me probably 60 also, do you think its worth it go thru all that hassle or just stay with comcast?

Btw, i have a big arse 51inch hitachi beautiful tv. So i would definitely go with the hd package. Also, i cant order movies from comcast because my damn signal is so weak. Suggestions?
 

Why can't you just get HD from Comcast and save yourself some $$? If oyu have digital cable already, it's only $5.00/mo. extra, which is a GREAT deal, IMHO.

i had dish now i'm back with comcast. shoot. i don't think dish has anything that can compete with comcast digital package and DVR (btw, all digital packages automatically includes HDTV).

ask comcast for the special. tell them if you don't get the dish buyback special you will go to dish.

here's what i got with the dish buyback special. i got Digital Comcast with HBO AND Comcast Internet for $69.00 / month. the entire package.

Complain to Comcast. You are paying for that service, it is their responsibility to deliver it to you. It shouldn't be that weak. Is DSL an option for you.
