Combo drive or dvd-rom?

does anyone have experiencee with the Lite-On Combo SOHC-5236K drive?

I already have a NEC 3540A dvd burner. i'm deciding whether I should get a dvd-rom or this combo drive... i'm going to use this optical drive primarily for reading dvds and cds. which should i get?

actually does anyone know if that nero express included in the package of the link above is for dvd burning too... or is this nero express only for cds?
 
The nero express will probably only do CD burning since it isn't coming with a DVD burner.

As for your question...if you don't think you would use the CD burning portion there is no reason to get the combo. But I do highly recommend lite on drives - they are great.
