Combining multiple ssds

Hi guys,

Santa gave me some amazon credit that I was thinking of acquiring some ssd drives with. I currently have two PCs each with a 256 crucial m4 drive. They are both getting kind of full. Here's what I was thinking for some options.

1) Buy 2 more crucial m4 256gb and run both sets in raid 0. I'm worried about trim though.
1.5) Buy 2 more other ssds, run them in raid 0, and move one of the m4s
2) Buy 1 larger ssd and replace one of the 256 ssds. RAID that ssd with the other one.
3) just use windows dynamic disks instead to extend the drive onto the other 256 drive.

What's the best option? Is raid worth it with ssds? Are their special considerations for trim? Or should I just us dynamic disks? And if I do, do they need to be identical

Just a few suggestions....

1. NEVER use dynamic disks

2. I use RAID0 and think it's great.

3. If your two 256GB drives are getting full, spend a little of the money for a mechanical backup drive.

4. The 512GB drives always give the best performance.
