Combining Corsair CAS 2.5 Modules with CAS 3 Modules

Howdy Folks...

I searched the threads & couldn't find this specific question asked. I apologize in advance if I overlooked where this question has already been asked & answered.

I currently have (2) 256MB PC3200 Corsair CAS 2.5 modules in my machine & want to add a Corsair CAS 3 1GB module.

Will the BIOS auto-detect the new module & automatically adjust the CAS 2.5 modules to match the slower CAS 3 PC3200 module?

Yea, and it's even possible to get the CAS3 sticks to run @2.5. Not all sticks will do it, but some will. Try jacking up the voltage if needed.
