Combat Flight Simulator 2 will not even load

I just bought this game and I really would love to try it out. One problem though: it refusues to load at all on Windows 2000. It installed fine, it just won't run. I get an error that says KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED error or something. I will post back if anybody needs me to check on it, but my problem is that I tried to run the APCOMPAT utility on it to get it to run and now all it says is that a debugger is running and that I need to stop it before I can run the game. Any ideas? I now can't even get that error.

Combat Flight Simulator 1 is listed as one of the games that the Whistler compatability toolkit fixes. Try using runcompat on CFS2. See this thread for details.
