comand and conquer : renegade is a very fun game..i am one of the lucky beta testers..i cant wait until it comes out to stores
 
is there a link to upload screenshots to this website so i can post?...i got tons of screen shots..
if not you can message me if you have AIM..i am homiedagrownbear ...i dont use ICQ cause i dunno where to dl it and havnt bothered looking
 
The game is asstastic compared to today's "standards" but its supposed to have pretty good gameplay..
 
the graphix are really good compared to today and the gameplay is really good..you have to use strategic actions to destroy the enemies base..a first in online FPS games(that i know of..counter-strike is no where near strategic)..you cant just run in there unless you want to die..you earn money and you have to protect your base while destroying the other teams..you earn money to buy vehicles and special characters
 
mine arrived thursday..all phase 1 members get into phase 2 so i doubt you wont be able to play if you still dont have yours
 
the rules are based just like every other command and conquer game but you get to see everything from a ground perspective and its more then just you playing against another person
 
no..some forums have upload links so you dont have to make a website to post your pics on the board


my pics probably look better cause they are in game in multiplayer..but i cant post them..until im out of the beta test
 
this forum doesn't have a pic upload function, so you'll have to put in on your webserver and then link it in your post....
 
Signed up for the beta test but didn't make it in.

I read an interview about it a couple months ago and it talked how they were making it so it'd run on older computers (like P2 266 min I think). That's stupid. I know they want it for a larger audience but people with their P2 300 shouldn't expect to play a brand new game. They should upgrade their Compaq or whatever if they want to play new games.
 
i got the email middle of last week saying i got chosen for the test and that my cd would arrive soon. waiting waiting waiting...

hope this game does better than the last westwood game i tested... sole survivor. 🙂 testing for that game was awesome, but the life of that game after it went retail couldn't hold a shadow to the testing phase. ALPHA SQUAD FOR LIFE! 🙂
