I got Comanche 4 over the weekend and it?s the best so far. The first two missions were pretty easy, but after that all down hill. The graphics are awesome. I?m running a 1G Gateway with 256 Megs Ram and 64 Meg on the video card and it still bogs down a little at times.

Has anyone else seen this yet?

I had the demo until it expired, and now I'm thinking about getting it. I have a PIII 800, 512 ram and a ATI 32DDR, I played it in 8x6, and even then sometimes there was quite a noticable slowdown when in heavy action.
 
I dont really play flightsims much.

But I read this game is more "arcadish".

Can it be played well without a flightstick?

Reviews & screenshots look great.

But Im on dial up & the demo is a bit of a long wait to find out I cant controll my chopper.

Will gamepad or keyboard/ mouse suffice?

Ive got 2 Gravis Eliminators & a Gravis Xterminator gamepads, any try the game with these?
 
I played the demo with my MS sidewinder gamepad, it took some getting used to. And, sorry, the demo has expired anyway.
