COM21 Doxport 111 modem $99 (DOCIS compliant) - AT&T Broadband customers only

This is the fourth and final modem offer for AT&T Broadband customers to buy their own modems. Thanks to rochlin who found this one.

AT&T is making this offer in selected areas. If you are in one of the qualifying areas, you can take your pick of modem. The offers all expire on June 30. As far as I can tell, these modems are all RJ45-only; no USB connections.

NOTE: My customer number was rejected on this one so I sent a note to COM21. They replied the next day and said to add five zeros to my number and that worked Example: Account number XXXNN-NNNNNN = XXXNNNNNNNN00000

[*]Link for AT&T Roadrunner customers[*] Link for AT&T @home customers

For those who may have missed the other offers:

[*]3COM HomeConnect 3CR29220[*]Motorola CyberSufer SB3100[*] RCA DCM225(?)

com21 modems are terrible for gaming and uploading... my com21 modem would upload at 12KBs speed on a uncapped cable network vs 100 KB on motolra

I heard the Toshiba modem were really fast. I have an RCA and my co-worker had one and than bought a Toshiba modem from Best Buy and his speeds increased 2 to 3 times. Thought I would share this before people bought modems. Not all cable modems are created equal. I have been looking for a web site comparing cable modems but haven't found one.
