This is not a super biggie - just an aggravation.
I use my modem to send out faxes over the phone line with Bitware. I also use this same com port - via my Actiontech modem to do automatic phone dialing through an older program I have - Daytimer (best PIM I ever found).
After the PC has been on a spell, especially if it goes into a power down mode - when I bring the monitor back up - the com port does not work. I can re-boot and all is well.
Is there anything I can do to make this com port more stable? I am using XP Pro, SP2, along with Zonealarm.
Thanks for any help here.
