"Its the most...wonderful time...of the year..."

Wanna know why? Cause my Xmas vacation doesn't stop, baby. Just given 4 weeks notice; I'm working with a new e-comm company and we only launched about 1 month or two ago and although sales are ramping up nicely they are simply running out of money...such a damn bad tmie to start. Its a real shame too because its a pretty good company but they just had to cut some staff until they can generate some income.

I'm not too worried...I'm quite employable but I really really don't want to be out of work too long because the loans were getting paid off so damn well :(

COO (what is a COO by the way) said he'll do all he can to help me get work here and he is well connected...

I shouldn't tell you guys what company it is - believe me you haven't heard of it anyway!

I have a good attitude about it because I'm young, I always want more money, and for some reason I find job hunting to be at least a tiny bit fun. I really really need a steady income, but if I can get another job in this area everything should work out OK I think. If I didn't have to hang around in this city because my fiance is not done school yet I'd have no problems but its a bit tough finding work here...hopefully i'll be ok tho.

$hitty timing nothing! If your company is running out of money after one or two months, can we say "$hitty business plan" ?

Well its e-comm; it just sucks right now :( Our company actually has what I think is a pretty good B.plan (not that I'm a business man), it just needs more time. I'm thinking that with more money it could really work out...

Well I have a friend in Toronto who is sure she could get me a job, but I still don't want to move there...doing up the old resume now and of course I had to get a bit of beer on the way home from work because all laid-off people drink :)

The guy who handels the day to day operations of the company.. sits on the board too, but is the primary one involved in executing board directives...
