Columbia House DVD club...ship each one separately?

I ordered LOTR:TTT for $19.95 plus tax/shipping and then got Old School:Unrated for like $9.95 or something. Anyway I received my LOTR:TTT yesterday with a bill saying it was $14.95 plus tax/shipping. However a while ago my director's selection was LOTR. I'm pretty sure I declined that selection but now I'm not so sure. I don't want to open it and end up with two copies of that movie. So does Columbia House normally ship each part of an order separately? Even on different days? Thanks.

Its a dvd club, and if you do it right you never pay more than $8 for any dvd. The dvdtalk forums have more details (dvd bargains, then dvd clubs).

My dvd collection weak by most standards, but I have gotten 75% from CH for super cheap! Sometimes less than $7 a dvd.

Depends on if they were both avaialble at the same time.

Anyway, Just open the package carefully on the end. Then if another one comes, put this one back in the box, glue it, and send it back with the gold old "Return to Sender" on it.

I think I"ll do that. The only other thing I can think is that they had a ton of LOTR:TTT already packaged up and ready to go b/c they assumed they'd get so many request for it. So when I ordered LOTR:TTT and Old School, they sent LOTR out right away b/c they were ready to go out anyway. then they took longer to process Old School. I didn't open LOTR b/c I didn't want to get stuck with 2 copies, but I'll do like you said and save the box for this single. That way if I get LOTR and Old School together in a double box, I'll stick that LOTR in the single box.

Thanks fellas
