Wow, I feel really stupid now that I notice the CBS logo.

Edit: There were no lyrics, it was just a bit of music, mostly guitar, that the program opened with while they introduced the teams.
 
i don't know the name of the song, but i think you are referring to the song played in Kill Bill vol. 1 when O-Ren-Ishi (sp?) and her group first walk into the japanese club
