colour shifting

I noticed the other day that my monitor seems to display a pixel in a slightliy different position depending on it's colour. I noticed it whilst on http://www.overclockers.com/ , and when I put the mouse on the tips index items on the left and they changed from blue to red with the rollover effect, I could see the text move a small amount to the right. I thought this could be a browser thing (I use IE 5.5) but that it would be more likely to be the monitor. I just wondered if this is normal or if my monitor is set up wrong. In case it's relevant, I have a TNT graphics card, and the monitor is a CTX VL710T in 1024*768 at 100Hz. The dot-pitch is I think 0.26.

Thanks!
