First if no one knows what one is and you've spend hours and hours hunting down IPS screens for the best picture, you are short changing yourself
Go here: http://www.curtpalme.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11436 and read up...B&H photo is a great place to snag one of these. I just picked up the Eye One Display LT for about the best price ebay had ($155 shipped 2 day).
I picked up my NEC 2490WUXi a few months ago for a steal ($460 direct from NEC 'refurbed' but came with 0 hours on it) and bought the Spectraview II software. It said it was compatible with the ColorMunki. However, the ColorMunki Create is sort of a red-headed stepchild and not really a 'ColorMunki' proper. It won't work. I wasted about $50 on it. It does an OK job of creating a color profile, but it's nothing like a real colorimeter and can't talk to the LUT's in my monitor.
Looking forward to finally setting this up. Anyone use the SpectraView II software and can extend some pointers?
Thanks and hope this helps some of you...
