I've not overclocked my graphics, and I've bought several $50 dual link DVI cables, but on my Dell 3007, I often get colored pixel flickers, mostly in darkly rendered areas, though it could be that they blend in with light areas better. It's the same in movies, and I think sometimes on the desktop even, but not always. It might be only when there's a lot of graphics or video processing going on.
What actually introduces these, and if it is the cable, how can several expensive quality cables just be that bad on arrival?
