they've only lost to miami and texas. they haven't lost to any teams they had no business losing to, unlike many teams ranked above them. what gives?

I'd blame being able to have mary-jane.

Their receivers blow...if you put any good corners on them they can't catch passes.

Also, we lack team speed on defense. We never show up in big games...

Yep, no play makers, just kind of mediocre-to-good across the board. Their roll-out option is devastating though, as Denver just runs and runs, then suddenly options and gains 20 yards.

The worst was against miami when they tried a wide receiver screen to a white receiver Sprague. He caught it with no on around him, tried to juke but it looked to awkward cause he kind of halfway spun around...and then 4 miami DBs came out of nowhere and hit him.

I don't care what anyone says, Fischer Deberry is right...if you have too many slow white guys on your team you can't win consistently or at the top levels.

it's because they started the season w/ a low ranking. if they win out they will be top 15 going into the big12 title game.

I think they are ranked just right. Now if they had beat either Texas or Miami or had beat both of them and were still ranked like #24 i would be bitching.

When the Buffs play Texas again they will get their asses handed to them, did you see what Texas did to Baylor today?

and yes I am a big CU fan. I fly a Buff flag on my house every sat during football season.

we (KSU) almost beat them if our punt returner wouldn't have fumbled with 66 seconds to go. They are good, but not great.
