Mozilla Firefox v0.8

There is a huge white space surrounding the forums where it used to be gray with the black color theme.

The actual post layout and My menu, categories etc are correct but everything else is white.

I have tried several color themes with the same result.

I'm experiencing the same problems. I was told in the "official" thread that it has always been this way. It hasn't.

As far as I know, White is definitely not "Black" :Disgust;

The black them never had a black background... the Dark theme is the only one with a dark background.

I've updated the themes to the old coldfusion anandtech ones, we did use the default themes on install. LMK if that helps.

I'm sure this was never the case. A brilliant white background is something that I would not pick up on as being different if it had not actually been different.

Surely the Black theme should have a darker background? Otherwise, can you make a black theme with a black/dark grey background? The link and alternating colours on the Dark scheme are terrible IMO.

Still doesn't seem to look any better, there is still that brilliant white background.

If it was there before, I probably am only noticing it now because the pages load so much slower than they used to.

My suggestion is the colours from the Black colour scheme, but with a darker background (either dark grey or black)

The pages load quicker, but hey believe what you want..

As for the body color:

background-color:#bbbbbb;
margin: 0px 0px 0px 0px;
padding: 0px;

Doesn't look like white to me, clear your file cache.

Whatever you've changed in the last minute (because I haven't, only replying to another thread), it's worked, it's back to the grey that it was before :)

Maybe they are loading quicker (will have to have more of a look), but that white I was seeing made it look like it was slower :)

Edit: And i've done a re-install of Windows today, so it's a completely clean browser installation, was still white until just before i posted this thread :))

Looking more bearable now, Jason :beer:
