Not just any pics. The library of congress bought the collection of a Russian scientist commissioned to record the Russian empire between 1909-1912. He used a special camera to photograph the same scene 3 times with Red, Green, & Blue filters. It's strange to see color images from that period. It seems like they're somehow more real.

*confirmed* Looks like these were intended to be projected through a 'magic lantern' onto a wall where they would appear in color. I wonder if there are more of these 3-plate photos around the world?

Ya, i have to admit that that looks really nice. But...maybe everything looked different back then and it wasnt the camera lol :D

I've seen this before. It's amazing. The guy is a genius. His work was literally decades ahead of its time.
