color of desktop is different

i was deleting a few items off my Hard drive and suddenly the color of my desktop ICONS changed, (ie the internet explorer icon is bluer than it used to be and the icons for everything else look dull and not as bright and colorful as they used to be) anyone know how to fix it?
 
See if a reboot will fix it or try TweakUI to rebuild the icons. Double check your display properties also.
