We have a very good Epson inkjet that does a great job, but with 9 Durabrite cartridges it's expensive to feed, so it really only gets used for photos and art work. For general purpose printing we have been using an old HP 722C but it's on its last legs, and pretty much have to buy refilled cartridges off ebay these days since HP stopped supporting it. I am in the market for a color laser printer that does a good job with general purpose printing and is not expensive to operate.
I'd rather buy a decent printer up front if it made toner refills simpler. This whole model of disposable printers with expensive low volume cartridges gets old, how about a good quality printer that's refillable?
Any ideas?
