Links to pictures should be allowed.
The rules are here:

The main thing is that someone affiliated with the store doesn't make the original post. If that were allowed to do hot deal posts the forums would be filled with company reps making hot deal posts and clogging up the forum. They can reply and stuff, thats fine.
In fact it happens sometimes that someone has a bad experiance and they reply to a hot deal and talk about it, then if a company rep responds and says they will address that bad experiance it makes the company look good. An example of this would be that someone was talking about good buys for computer Power Supplies. Someone replied and said a certain power supply had gone bad and destroyed some of his computer components, and he wasn't happy about that, nor was he happy about the response he got to his emails. The company rep replied in the same thread a few days later and said that they would replace his power supply and probably help reimburse him for the parts that were destroyed. For a small cost to replace that stuff, the company took care of an unhappy customer, made themselves look good on forums, and helped ensure that instead of spreading the story of how sucky the power supply was and the company sucked, instead he is probbaly now going to say how they took good care of him. Its just good customer service all around and it makes everyone happy.
Oh and when I asked for pictures I didn't mean that I wanted the same pictures that were on your website

I was wanting some real life pictures of these things in operation. Most of the time companies only want to have pictures that show thier stuff in the best possible way, so they usually dont post what I call "real" pictures, like of one sitting on a table with real light, not photoshop edited.
If you dont want to post some pictures in the thread, feel free to send me links in a private message by clicking that little lock icon to the right of my name.
