It is completely ridiculous...but that is what happens when the red sox fans have waited this long for a championship. To compound the problem, the red sox are in a division with the most outrageous spender. At the same time, the new owners are saddled with tremendous debt and are cutting payroll.
We are all bitter, so that allows us to sound at least a little silly.
