Am I the only one that finds the banner ad with the little cartoon colon polyp to be obtusely disgusting?
I mean I see the ad, but if I stop and think about it......they made a cartoon. Of a COLON POLYP. That's pretty sick.

Anyway, it's not that gross -- it's not like you see an ACTUAL polyp. In fact, I think the implication is that polyps aren't disgusting things, but in fact red cartoon men that get pulled over by the ass police.

I dunno...for some reason I find a jolly smiling cartoon polyp to be more disturbing than an actual picture of one.

And just for the record, the one about Caraveggio or whatever being someone from the Sopranos is pretty lame.

It could've been worse -- they could've used an excised polyp, planted eyes on it, and made it waddle across a table. *THAT* would've been disgusting. 😀
