Drexel University diddn't include one...so im wondering if i should contact them or what not...the 2 other schools that i was accepted into but not attending included these cards... what should i do?

Talk to your academic advisor because there may be more than just a form to fill out and they should be able to tell you everything that you need to do.

Even if they don't know, they can give you a better idea of what needs to be done, seeing as we don't know what your school's policies are.

hmph... im in high school right now, will be attending college in the fall. so maybe youre thinking im in college already?

you don't have to do anything. when they see that you didin't register for classes and didn't pay, they'll take you out of the system.

unless you have financial aid. then you might have to call up or something.

yep..diddnt register or anything...i thought most schools wanted this in... i gave drexel a call and i typed up a paragraph explaining why im not going...and i just mailed it.

i thought its just common curtesy to do it?

AHHHH!! I thought you were currently attending and wanted to know about transferring.

Well, in that case, they usually get the hint when you don't register or send in any more paperwork. Usually if you don't take their placement exam by the deadline they will get the hint, too. You don't have to, and aren't required to tell them anything else.

you don't *have* to do anything but it will look good if you send them a letter thanking them for accepting you but telling them you aren't going.

*edit* and your title was the cause of the confusion. you aren't withdrawing from anything at all.

I just up and left. Didn't sign up for classes and they sent a email or two letting me know I was going to be dis-enrolled if I didn't sign up. Not much contact. They really didn't try to keep me. Oh well. I guess I really an not special.

If you plan on going to another school - and retaining your credits - you will need a 'letter of permission' from your old school to your new one. They may or may not accept this and grant credit.
