College Thread: Whats the difference between management and business adminstration?

From my experiences in college, most every business major was almost the exact same thing. Possibly 1-2 different classes out of 40 😀

If you are gonna major in management or business administration, double major in something else. Alone, it's worthless. I'm doing Finance + Business Adminstration.

I think you would want to look at the specific classes that pertain to the major in question. Not all universities have the same classes for each major. I'm sure you could find out if your school has some kind of help center for bus majors.

[puts flamesuit on]to an engineering student they're all the same. You get to get drunk every night and not go to many of your classes and still BS your way through to pass the class.

On a more serious note: I think it'd be VERY helpful to learn some foreign languages if you do decide to do something like business. Business majors are low unit majors and IMO it'd help a lot if you could speak some other languages well when it comes to trading with other countries.

I was a business admin undergrad and your insight is fairly spot on 😀

general business degrees are worthless. You need to specialize in something my friend. Pick something like finance or accounting. You will be better off but they are much harder majors.
