I don't know if this belonged in the Hot Deals forum, so I'll post it here to be safe.........

Does anyone know if UsedBookBroker.com is still in business? I haven't been in college since March and want to know if I should keep trying to look for that site?

thanks,
don

Im not sure, but if you want to know a good sight for finding cheap textbooks try www.bestbookbuys.com. It compares book prices for at least 20 different online bookstores. hope this helps...

Half.com has amazing deals on textbooks. I found my Discrete Math book for $45.00. The bookstore wanted $81.00 used or $108.00 new. Plus, there's a 10 off 50 coupon for 1st time customers.

best way to buy books is to post a list of the books you need on campus bulletin boards near the end of a semester and them offer five to ten bucks more what the bookstore is offering ($20 for a book you paid $150 for and only opened twice :| ) and only buy it if it is in good shape. Somebody will have that book and would rather sell it to you than to give it away to the bookstore only to buy back because they failed the class.
