UC Irvine gives you 30 pages of printing per month if you are an arts student. Or if you know someone who works at one of the artslabs 😉

Otherwise No free printing really (save through specific schools and student programs). To print at the library takes a copy card (which can also be used at copy machines to make copies). Last i checked the rates were reasonable enough. I think 2 bucks for the card and then 5c for print from computer, 7 from copier.

I bought the samsung ML-2010 though a while ago and i haven't needed to print on campus for awhile 😀

hrmm edit : let me think about printing at UCI a little harder for one sec
Dorm Communities - Free print, bring your own sheets (at least it was 3 years ago)
Artslab - 30 pages/mnth
ArtsTec - Free printing (in class)
HIB335 lab - Free printing in class.
HIB 3rd floor general - copy card.
All Libraries i believe use the Copy card / print retreval system
Student workers generally have access to printing from their jobs (those in Admin bldg, student center, etc)
there are a lot more shool computer labs that have printers - printing is restricted though depending on the school and which class your in..

but yea.. basically bring your own paper or something like 10cent a page.

Mrsbugi - 15c at USC? Ouch... they know your rich (or academically endowed with scholarships.. at least you better be) so they ream you on tuition and printing 😉

1000 pages per year. Law School, though (and free printing of Lexis/WestLaw stuff)

Undergrad used to have some labs with free printing (for students in the department), but that ended because of abuse (stupid people printing out 200 pages articles). Was 7 cents a page.
