good idea on the vending machine, but the problem is that there's so many diff kinds needed for all diff types of printers. also, alot of students will just use the school's printer if they have to print out alot of stuff since its free, you just have to make the effort to go down to the pc labs.

hm. who runs out of ink in the middle of a paper? it's usually pretty obvious when the ink starts running low; definitely enough time to pick up a new cartridge for when it finally does run out.

Yeah we thought about the different kinds of printers, but figured that stocking the most popular brands would work.

Why does it give me the option to say "no, I don't own a laser printer", but then force me to answer questions about how much I pay for cartridges for a printer I don't own?

The printers at my university are not free, they cost like 20c per b/w page. I can print for free at other places on campus, not public labs, but I also have a printer at home because it's convenient.

to unselect a radio botton click reset at the bottom of the page, and it will clear it out and should work correctly.

i'm not a college student so i didn't take your survey, but i took a look at it. I think it's a pretty good idea setting something like that up. Although I personally have an EXCELLENT inkjet, and a laserjet, I probably wouldn't use it. However I know some people who could would probably take advantage of something like that.

Hope this helps :)

Cheers

I can just see dropping 160 quarters into a vending machine to get a $40 set of cartridges.
