Went to Econ 102 lecture once and discussion twice.

Ended up with an AB 🙁

EDIT: I'm not including going to class for the midterms and final.

what's an AB? 😕

A grade (you can probably figure out what it means)

I knew it was a grade, but I've never heard of multiple letter grades. Unless you meant a B?

I had a chemistry class where the only time I went to class was for the tests (we had class 5 times per week). Anyway, after the first or second test, the professor got up in front of class and told everyone about the score that I had appently received. He remarked about how hard I must have been working, and what I good student I must be. My friend raised his had, and told the professor in front of everyone that I pretty much thought that his lectures were a waste of time and never went. Good thing I wasn't in class that day either🙂

If you mean for one particular class, I showed up for the first lecture, 1st Midterm, and the final for my C++ class.
Lowest grade out of all my engineering classes by far D+

an entire semester - days with exams. well the lecture portion atleast

Human anatomy. lecture is a complete repeat of Lab which is you pretty much have to show up for since lab exams are pretty much identify X muscle, flexor etc. Since it was with actual body parts, no manual or text book will do atleast in my mind justice with what your expected to learn. Pictures simply can't make up for up front and personal look at cadavers.

i always go to class, seems to work pretty well, if nothing else I use class as a networking opportunity to arrange meetings for homework with other students..seems to be working pretty well, 3.68 GPA in EE

Besides, what else do i have to do, I don't have a job, school paid for by merit scholarship and living expenses by parents

Actually I did the same thing for my assembly code class. First day of lecture, took the first exam without ever showing up to class previously and got by far the highest score in the class. Didn't show up for the reminder of the class until the final and scored the highest grade on the final. I killed the curve in the class heh by attending a total of 3 class sessions. I dunno why but that class came real easy for me and everybody else struggled. But programming I sux like hell.

I've received less than 10% on the first round of tests this semester, apparently I'm not as harry potter like as everyone else 😛

Madison doesn't use +/- grades. We have A, AB, B, BC, etc.

Edit: And I don't skip classes. 😛

I went to econ330 my last semester in college, 3 times.

we had 3 exams that year. you do the math.

(on days we had homework to turn in I went and dropped it off then left)

Its now been about 17 months since I've been in a class. well, because I graduated after that semester. 😛

Well, I never blew off an ENTIRE semester of a class, but there were certain craptastic and unnecessary classes that I skipped regularly.

In engineering sometimes my friends and I skip class in order to have time to do homework or do lab assignments. Some lab hours are limited...

I managed to skip all of my classes for an entire semester. Showed up to the first and last classes.
Still managed a 'B' average that semester.

I haven't been to my Cell Biology class since the first day of class. Am I the only mega-slacker on ATOT?

Classics, a week and a half ago.

This school has been fvcking me over and all of my classes are in limbo, it's been 3 weeks since classes started. I'm not even officially in two of the classes I've been attending.

Digital Logic...I must have skipped half the classes, but my streak was 5 classes. I got a C in that class, but I understand that stuff better than half the class...strange...Oh Well....

last semester i went on a vacation during summer school and missed the last half of my classes, still made two A's 🙂

thank god for the internet and take home exams!

One semester, I made the mistake of taking a 7:30 am Genetics course. There were at least 100 people in the class. After the first week or two I stopped going because I was normally asleep at that time in the morning. After four or five weeks I knew the midterm was coming up but I couldn't find the syllabus. So I called the professor and asked him about the midterm.

He replied " Well Randy, if you came to class you would know"

I was shocked at this because of the number of people in the class and he did not take roll.

I asked: "How can you possibly know when I am not in class?"

He said: "Come to class tomorrow and I will give you a syllabus" and then hung up.

how'd he know?

I had a history class in one of the huge lecture rooms that I attended on the first day, mid-term and final. I got a C+. Meh.
