college question

i have been doing communtiy service but they do not give you any certificate or anything like that to tell that i have been doing communtiy service. my question is do i need a record or will they just believe you if you put it down saying that i have been doing x hours of community service

what did you get busted for? I had to do 200 hours of community service when I got busted for stealing a bottle of whiskey

Is this for high school? At my high school you had to get a form from the office and whoever was the supervisor of the event had to fill it out.

If you haven't done it yet and have been doing community service at the same place, I'm sure they'd have no problem just filling in that you did 20 hours or whatever you did (as opposed to having to do it every single day).

Since he has an asian avatar, I have to assume he's doing this to put on his college apps, not because he broke the law.

You could most likely just put down what you've done. Maybe attach an additional sheet of activities and provide some explanations as to what each thing is. But this is all coming from someone who's community service was limited to a Dell Support Board.

I got certificates from the two places i volunteered at and turned it into my high school. I think if you dont have proof its not a big deal unless your numbers are really high

you have to have someone sign off on your hours. should be daily or weekly

At my high school we needed 20 hours of community service to graduate, so it had to be documented.

Plus it was on our transcripts so it wasn't just a matter of putting down what you want on your apps..

but the thing is that i don't think my school has one of those sheets to put events on though as far as i know. should i just have them sign it on a piece of line paper. if not i can just put it down on the app but just has to sound reasonable right?
