College Question

yes, its possible. Just keep your grades up from now on out and you'll be fine.

As long as you show improvement, you should be ok. If you have a valid reason for poor performance, then that can be brought to the admission committee's attention. Doing extra curricular stuff and having good SAT scores can act as a nice buffer, also.

no, a bad freshman GPA can follow you for the rest of your highschool career. do better, but do extracuricular stuff, be officers of clubs, etc.

Yeah, just boost your grades up for the next three years. But depending on which college you want to apply, your freshman grade can have a *small* impact. But it's all good, just work your a$$ of like w0ah for the next three yeras... that's what I did 😀

no, it will haunt you if you decide to kick your ass into gear too late. I did crappy freshman & sophmore year and worked had to WORK MY FREAKIN ASS OFF to get my GPA back up to where i wanted it once i decided that i had messed around enough.

It can be done though, im proof.

I had a very low GPA my freshman year in high school, now im about to graduate college with honors and hopefully attend law school.

Yes, it matters a lot. However, if you improve your grades over your high school career then it'll help you a lot in the college admissions process. They like to see improvement, and since you've been constantly improving, you'll probably carry that over to college. I had a gpa in the low 3's freshman year in high school but I eventually brought it up and got into many ivies and other good schools
