Ok, I need Help selecting a college. I live in south eastern Idaho. The main thing I want to do in life is get a job programming computer games 🙂, However, Computer enginering and programming would work to. Im not to much into the Modeling part of games, but I would love to learn how to preform the physics operations and such. Again, Programming is a must for me, I know a little, but would like to get a job doing it.

BTW, I was thinking of Devry (did not see me mention it) any comments on that? BTW what college is the u of w? university of wisconsion?

Have you taken any programming yet? MANY MANY people say they want to "program games" when the reality is those positions aren't exactly easy to come by. Add that to the fact that programming definately isn't for everyone (me included), and its not the fun and games you seem to think it will be.

need to post scores (sat, act) gpa, extra curriculers and what not if you want us to give you an accurate recommendation and class schedule..

GPA: 3.2, (taken last year, going to take this year) ACT: 24, and yes I have some programming experiance and do know what is involved in C and C++ Programming. VB was way to easy and I almost thought it set back my programming skills 🙂.

Ohh, BTW, Im taking AP calculis (odviously not AP English), Which should raise my GPA (as im doing fairly well in it so far). and I've taken a few tech support classes. I have not taken any Programming classes as they are not offered here :'(
