I am sitting in an engineering class listening to the TA explain how to use word>>>> Yes that is right. I am glad I am paying for this vauluable education.

Update: Now i am sitting here learning the wonders of Excel. This is kinda over the top, I should stop waking up early.

what class and what college. i'll laugh my ass off if its RU

<---------working temp job with RU computer engg degree 😱:disgust:

This is what, your first few days of school? What did you expect, fourier analysis on the first day? If they're going to require use of Word, they're most certainly going to need to get those who aren't familiar up to speed. This is a prime example of why I prefer correspondence courses.

In any first level classes, it is advisable to have all students able to operate at the least comon demoninator. Some students may not have been exposed to certain programs/technologies.

After finding out that the whole class time is going to be spent on learning Word, you could've then skipped class.

He goes to A&M College Station

I am sitting in Composition 1 on the other hand as we learn to post our introduction letters on the network.

You must be in a social science computer class. I sat in one with my friend and I barely lasted the entire class b/c it was so brainless.

It's a weel known fact that the Academia world pisses away almost as much money as the goverment does 😉

It is an engineering111 class for EE and CE students. Most all of us are the biggest computer nerds the campus has to offer. BUt I feel sorry for the TA it is somewhat broken english and trying to care about something you don't.
