I need a laptop for college, no more than $800
I need the following features in this order (i.e. remove features from the bottom of the list to meet the price as best as possible 🙂)

Word processing
120GB+ HD
Integrated wireless networking
Playback xvid/divx
Capability to play older games (ex. UT2004, CS)

Any help would be appreciated
 
When do you need this laptop by? If you need it for the upcoming school year, wait until at least June to buy a laptop. Does your school offer any specials with laptops?

Maybe look at the Dell outlet to see if you can get a good deal on an E1505/Inspiron 6400 with a Mobile Radeon X1400 if you need this right away.

Edit:
Also, any laptop can play xvid/divx since those are software codecs (you'll just have to install them on your own).
 
I'd say to look in the Dell Outlet and see if you can snag an E1505/Inspiron 6400 with a MR X1400 since you won't find many notebooks with a dedicated card in your price range.
 
Here is a very nice laptop for the price. The only downsides are the size (17" is huge if you are going to bring it to class) and it has a 100gb HD.
